The following concert-related dates are mandatory: o Sunday, September 7, 2025 - AYS Orientation, Season-Opening Rehearsal, and Parents’ Meeting o Saturday, November 8, 2025 and Sunday, November 9, 2025 - AYS Dress Rehearsal and AYS Fall Concert o Saturday, January 24, 2026 and Sunday, January 25, 2026 - AYS Dress Rehearsal and AYO Winter Concert o Sunday, March 8, 2026 and Sunday, March 15, 2026 - AYO Dress Rehearsal and AYO Side-By-Side Concert o Saturday, April 25, 2026 and Sunday, April 26, 2026 - AYS Dress Rehearsal and AYS Spring Concert

In keeping with national standards for premiere youth orchestra programs, all Akron Youth Symphony members are REQUIRED to participate in the instrumental or vocal music programs at their respective schools, when applicable. We are committed to supporting all in-school music programs, and your participation is an important part of the success of those programs. Thank you for adhering to our School Participation Policy.
