Guild Garden Party

The giant snow piles are melting, and spring is in the air. Mark your calendars now to celebrate the return to the warmth and blooming beauty at the Guild’s Garden Party on Friday, May 6 at 5 pm (party 5-6:30 pm, shopping 6:30-8 pm) at Dayton Nurseries on 3459 Cleveland-Massillon Road in Norton.

We are looking forward to an in-person cocktail party and program at Dayton’s Owl Barn. A Dayton expert gardener will give a talk on container gardening for inspiration before we go out to the nursery to buy our spring plants.

Dayton will generously donate 15% of each purchase—excluding services and gift cards—made Friday evening through Sunday (May 6-8). Guild members and friends must mention the Akron Symphony Guild at check-out.

Dayton Nursery is a complete nursery and garden center located in Norton. The Akron Symphony Guild provides organized volunteer support of the Akron Symphony organization, including the Akron Symphony Orchestra, Chorus and Youth Symphony. More than 100 members participate in varied and exciting events and programs to help ensure that symphonic music remains an important part of the Akron community.
