ASO to present Home for the Holidays on December 13
The Akron Symphony Orchestra invites you to celebrate the holiday season at Home for the Holidays on December 13 at 7:30 p.m.
The Orchestra, under the direction of Music Director Christopher Wilkins, will share the stage with the Akron Symphony Chorus, the Akron Youth Symphony, the CVCA Royal Ringers and tenor Daniel Doty for a selection of holiday favorites. The audience will even have a chance to join in during the holiday sing-along.
Prior to the concert, the lobby will be transformed into a Winter Carnival. Children can stop by the Crafting Station to make a holiday bag and then fill it at the Candy Store. There will be music provided by the CVCA Royal Ringers and the Firestone High School Madrigal Singers. Guests can also stop by the holiday backdrop for a photo with Santa to commemorate the evening. The Winter Carnival, which is included in the price of the concert ticket, will open at 6:30 p.m. and run until just before the start of the concert.
