Take a leisurely cruise on a pontoon boat, enjoy lunch, tour wonderful homes, and appreciate the beauty of the Portage Lakes. This July, the Akron Symphony Orchestra and Akron Symphony Friends are bringing back one of Northeast Ohio’s favorite summer traditions… the 2026 Lakes Tour. Spend the day lake-hopping through some of the Portage Lakes’ most interesting homes, then relax and mingle at the after-party at the Upper Deck. Plus, exclusive raffle prizes that you won’t want to miss out on.
LAUNCH SITE: The Upper Deck at 357 W. Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Akron, Ohio 44319
(DIRECTIONS: Main St. south, turn right on Turkeyfoot Lake Road. Parking on right or across street at golf course.)
We will TOUR rain or shine, so please come prepared with rain gear. If the weather is too difficult, you may drive to homes and the Tudor House for the Commodore Luncheon.
The After Party at the Upper Deck is from 4p-6:30p, so plan to stay for the fun!

No mailed-in reservations will be accepted unless otherwise arranged.
Rain: We tour rain or shine! In the event of a force majeure, this event may be canceled. This includes but is not limited to public health restrictions, dangerous weather conditions, or any other acts of God.
No refunds will be offered. If you are unable to attend, however, you may transfer your tickets to another party.
A vegetarian meal option is available by pre-order only.
Lakeside homes and boats are NOT handicap accessible.
We regret that we cannot admit infants or children under age 12.
Captain’s Challenge raffle winner will be drawn the week of the event.
