The Akron Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to share with you a 2019-20 concert series displaying the range, power and beauty of symphonic music. Highlights include irresistible audience favorites like the Mozart Requiem, Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, and symphonies by Haydn, Schubert, Tchaikovsky, Mahler and Rachmaninoff.
We will also give special attention this year to music by creative women, including Gabriela Lena Frank, Joan Tower, Ethel Smyth and Florence Price.
