The Akron Symphony Orchestra and the inspirational voices of the Gospel Meets Symphony Choir join together to present Gospel Meets Symphony. The concert – one of Northeast Ohio’s proudest and most enduring musical traditions – features the Orchestra as well as a variety of inspirational songs performed by some of the area’s best musicians and vocalists, including the GMS 2.0 Choir, the junior gospel choir.

All concerts take place at E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall, located on the campus of The University of Akron. Per guidelines set by the University of Akron, masks are optional for all patrons attending concerts at EJ Thomas Hall. Parking is $10 parking at the gate (cash) or $8 pre-paid.
Please pick your section; best seats available will be chosen for you. If you have a particular area (seat) you want, please mention it in the notes section. We’ll do our best to seat you accordingly.
If you need special seating in any way (such as easy access, or handicapped accessible), please indicate that in the notes or call the office. These are available in Section B.
If you purchase your tickets a week in advance or more, they will be mailed to you unless specified otherwise. Tickets purchased less than a week from the concert date will be available in office or at the venue the night of the concert.
